About Taweefa Artelier
Our Story
Taweefa Artelier was founded on a simple conviction: a truly exceptional space is not furnished, it is composed. Every material, every proportion and every detail should work together to create an experience that feels effortless to live in and unforgettable to walk into.
Founded in Dubai in 2021 by Tawanda P. Kanhema and Haleefa Ayan, the studio began by curating soft furnishings for holiday home apartments, where every piece had to earn its place and every guest had to feel at home. That early discipline shaped everything that followed. Today, Taweefa Artelier designs multi-storey buildings and luxury villas, with work spanning interior design, architectural drawings, exterior envelope design and landscaping. Each project carries the same promise we made on day one: transparency in every decision, and quality in every detail.

Tawanda brings a background in hospitality, procurement and e-commerce, and with it a deep understanding of what makes an experience feel seamless. Hospitality taught him that luxury lives in the details guests never have to think about. Procurement taught him how to source the right product at the right standard. He shapes the creative direction of every project through its technical design, and leads project management and quality assurance, so that what is envisioned on paper is delivered on site exactly as intended.
Haleefa Ayan

Haleefa's path to design began in real estate sales and leasing, where she spent years understanding what discerning clients look for and why. She knows that a home is far more than an asset: it is a reflection of how its owners want to live, entertain and be seen. That insight now drives her creative leadership and the studio's growth. She guides each project's interior vision, from spatial flow to the selection of finishes, textures and materials, and builds the client relationships and partnerships that bring new projects to Taweefa Artelier.
