Behind every finish is a supplier, a craftsperson, and a decision made on-site. A look at how we source.
Every material in a finished interior passed through a decision most clients never see: which quarry, which mill, which workshop. Sourcing is where design intent either survives contact with reality or quietly erodes.
We keep a working network of stone yards, joinery workshops, and metal fabricators we return to project after project—not because switching is difficult, but because consistency of hand is part of the specification. A book-matched marble slab or a hand-finished brass pull behaves predictably when it comes from a maker we already understand.
Where a client wants something outside that network, the process is the same: visit, sample, verify, and only then commit. It is slower than ordering from a catalogue, and it is the difference between a finish that photographs well and one that holds up in daily use.
